The story of The Talent Farm is not the story of an institution that was built overnight. It is a journey that began more than a decade ago with a few students, a few determined individuals and a simple but powerful belief:
Talent is not confined to cities. It exists in every village. What is often missing is awareness, guidance, opportunity and the right environment to grow.
A JOURNEY BUILT ONE STEP AT A TIME
2013
The Initial Ignition
Helping 7-8 talented students secure admission to Delhi University revealed the power of timely guidance. Jatin Kumar’s journey from Barhana to qualifying the Haryana Civil Services Examination, 2023 became one example of that transformation.
2014
A Small Classroom, A Bigger Dream
A place in Shalimar Bagh, Delhi began serving 40-50 students from nearby slum communities with teaching, guidance and support. 4-5 students from the early group later secured selections in CAPF, banking and SSC examinations.
2016
The Big Leap
Mr. Sachin Ahlawat was selected for the Civil Services Examination and joined the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). renewing the responsibility to build a stronger support structure for rural aspirants.
2018-2019
From an initiative to a Model
Grameen Yuva Kendra (GYK) was established in Old Rajinder Nagar under the guidance of Sh. Karnal Singh, with Mr. Sachin Ahlawat as a core member. Over the next 6-7 years, more than 300 civil servants from rural backgrounds joined the All India Services.
2024-2025
Going Back to the Roots
The experience made one question unavoidable: why should students have to leave their villages to find opportunity? The idea of a permanent educational and mentoring centre took shape in Dighal.

From an Idea to Reality
The doors of The Talent Farm opened. Students began coming from 10-12 nearby villages, gaining a common space to learn, prepare, ask questions, dream bigger and receive guidance for their future.
PRESENT
Growing Impact, Stronger Possibilities
In just one year, 10–15 students have scored over 90% in Class 12, while others continue preparing for competitive exams and higher education. More importantly, students are beginning to dream bigger, families are gaining confidence, and young people from different villages are learning and growing together.
